2022 H. DEL BEEKLEY GOLF TOURNAMENT

 

ADMIRAL BAKER GOLF COURSE (SOUTH)

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2022

 

 

REGISTRATION:

Registration will begin at 7:15 a.m.  All players will need to register at the front entrance to the clubhouse.   Upon arrival you will receive your team scorecard, driving range vouchers, and your raffle tickets.

 

GOLF CARTS:

Carts are included as part of the tournament fee and will be staged near the Pro Shop.  

 

STARTING TIMES: 

Starting times will begin at 7:45 a.m. off of the 1st tee.  Click the Pairings link, on the above header, for individual tee times.

   

FORMAT:

18-hole, Four-Person Scramble.  (On every hole, all team members may hit a tee shot. The team then selects one of the tee shots from which to play their next shot. All members of the team may then hit from that position. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed.)

 

CONTESTS:

Bonus Pack Participants:   Longest Drive on Hole #14, closest to the Hole on Hole #8.  A raffle will be held after the tournament for many other prizes!

 

  • Foursome Bonus Pack – $90 Includes 4 Closest to the Hole, 4 Longest Drive, and 120 Raffle tickets
  • Individual Bonus Pack – $25 Includes Closest to the Hole, Longest Drive, and 30 Raffle tickets

 

TEES: 

Men will play from the White tee markers.  Women will play from the Gold tee markers.

 

RENTAL CLUBS:

Admiral Baker has rental clubs available for any player playing for an additional fee of $15-$45 per set.  Right, and left-handed sets are available.

 

LIVE SCORING:

One player from each group will be asked to download the Golf Genius App to their smartphone to enter scores during play for their group.  This will allow for live scoring during the tournament. 

 

Downloading the Mobile App:

Players can search in the app store for the free app by entering "Golf Genius."  The app is currently available for the iPhone (Apple iOS 9 or higher), Android (Android 4.4 or higher), and the iPad. 

 

Logging into the Mobile App:

You'll receive a GGID the morning of the tournament which will allow you to enter scores in your phone.

 

FOOD SERVICE AND PURCHASES:

Players will be on their own for food and beverage purchases. The clubhouse restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch during the day. 

Cash and all major credit cards will be accepted for purchases.

DRESS CODE:

Players should wear golf attire:  collared shirts, slacks, mid-length shorts, and skirts.  Golf shoes and sneakers are the only shoes permitted.  Metal spike shoes are not permitted.
